ACCESS TO SERVICES

A feature about our NFP centres is their diversity. Some NFP centres are located within major teaching hospitals in capital cities; others in medical or community centres. And some are situated in church offices or in individual agencies.

But not all our NFP centres are based in the capital cities and larger towns. Our aim is to make NFP accessible to all Australians. In rural areas, NFP centres operate from local offices or from the homes of NFP educators. And in remote areas our NFP educators make regular trips to outlying areas to provide NFP services to outback groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

No matter where they live, or what their special NFP requirements may be - whether its providing support to those in remote areas through a 1800 phone number, or providing literature in 22 languages - our clients can be assured that the  educators at our centres have strategies to meet their NFP needs.
